It was around March/April of 2012. I was already, and still, a huge C/T follower. Loved everything they were putting out. But around that time they uploaded “She’s Really All I Need” on SoundCloud. First thoughts was how strange it sounded. But right away I was hooked. Definitely thought this was the weirdest thing I heard at that time for me. But once they released “Baby’s Wearing Blue Jeans” *wipes sweat off of forehead* ohhh I was head over heels. The deep voice, the great tempo it was giving out, the hooks it had. ‘Rock and Roll Nightclub’ is my favorite release that DeMarco has put out.
It’s been on my Discogs want list forever, it’s actually the first thing I added on my want list when I made a Discogs account. It’s still gonna be on there since the one I’m really after is the green version.
